2 Collection and storage of personal data, and nature and purpose of their use

2.3 Profiling
Automated decision-making (profiling) based on the recorded personal data does not take place.
3 Transmission of data
In general, we will only use your personal data inside our company.
If and insofar as we use third parties to fulfil contracts (e.g. logistics service providers), they only receive personal data to the extent that transmission is necessary for the corresponding service (e.g. delivery address).
If we outsource certain areas of data processing ("contract data processing"), we obligate contract processors in a contract data processing agreement to use personal data solely in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and to guarantee protection of the rights of the data subject.
Transmission of personal data to bodies or persons outside the EU does not take place and is not planned. One exception is the playback of YouTube videos (see Section 5.2).

4 Cookies

This evaluation is primarily carried out (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and inform other users of the social network, where necessary, about your activities on our website.

8 Data security
We make every effort to protect your data in accordance with valid data protection regulations and through the use of technical measures. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) process in conjunction with each highest encryption level supported by your browser. This normally involves 256 Bit encryption. If this is not supported by your browser, we will use 128 Bit v3 technology instead. Depending on the utilised browser, you can recognise encrypted data transmission by the closed (sometimes also green) display of the key symbol or lock symbol in the URL bar of your browser.
In order to back up your data, we have also introduced technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulations, partial or total loss and destruction, or against unauthorised access by third parties.
